US 79 from I-35 to east of FM 1460 (A.W. Grimes), TxDOT

 

NLA is the public involvement lead for the Environmental Assessment on US 79 from I-35 to east of FM 1460 (A.W. Grimes) in Round Rock, TX for the TxDOT Austin District. The project aims to improve safety and mobility and accommodate future population growth and land use in the area of US 79 from south of I-35 to east of FM 1460 (A.W. Grimes) in Williamson County. The proposed project includes the improvements such as widening the existing US 79 roadway to add a third travel lane, installing median for safety, improving intersections to include potential overpasses, modifying driveways and access points, and installing shared-use paths on both sides of US 79 to improve bicycle and pedestrian accommodations.
